ABOUT THE SHOW: Rock of Ages is an LA love story lavished with over 25 classic rock anthems. Lose yourself in a city and a time where the dreams are as big as the hair, and yes, they can come true! This hilarious musical comedy will have you singing and laughing along with it’s epic songs including We Built This City, The Final Countdown, Here I Go Again, Don’t Stop Believin’, Can’t Fight this Feeling and I Want to Know what Love Is, played loud and proud by an awesome live band.

 

Now a global smash with hit seasons on Broadway, London’s West End and Las Vegas and a star studded Hollywood movie version, we promise you a night of outrageous rock ’n’ roll debauchery at the biggest party in town! Warning: Contains serious rock ’n’ roll debauchery! The initial production will feature Kevin Kennedy, Zoe Birkett, Jodie Steele, Luke Walsh, Lucas Rush and more.

DLAP Ents offer theatre production finance and production accounting for a range of productions including including West End musicals & plays, large and mid-scale touring productions and smaller productions including fringe and small-scale touring. Our services include:

 

  • Budget consultation;
  • Submission of VAT returns;
  • Submission of tax relief applications;
  • Weekly invoice payments;
  • Tracking and reconciliation of accounts, credit/debit card accounts and petty cash;
  • Profit and loss projections based on gross potentials and historical data;
  • Payroll
  • PAYE services for BECTU emplyees;
  • Weekly reporting to producer/general manager;
  • Production bookkeeping;
  • End of production accounts;
  • Preparing and distributing royalty statements;
  • Distributing royalty payments;
  • Preparing and distributing four-weekly accounts;
  • Negotiation and contracting of Certified Accountant.

 

DLAP Ents will secure pre-production fee and a weekly operating fee based on the size of the production.

As commercial producers working in the UK touring sector, DLAP Ents have strong relationships and connections with every major theatre and their booking staff (including Chief Executives) around the United Kingdom and The Republic of Ireland. Our services include:

 

  • Liaising with producer to identify target theatres and dates;
  • Advice on pre-production and operating budgets;
  • Profit and loss projections based on gross potentials and historical data;
  • Negotiation of headline financial deal at each venue;
  • Advice on venue settlements and contras;
  • Contracting venues with headline terms (including royalties, box office split, staffing, performance scheduling, payment terms, complimentary tickets, company comps, sound desk details, technical contra details, marketing contra agreements, on-sale dates, settlement details).

 

DLAP Ents will secure a weekly operating fee based on the size of the production. We cater for all sizes of productions including sit-down runs, weekly touring (musicals and plays), split week productions and one nighters.

DLAP Ents offer bespoke General Management services to a variety and range of productions including West End musicals & plays, large and mid-scale touring productions and smaller productions including fringe and small-scale touring. DLAP Ents ensure that all productions are realised on time and budgets are adhered to. Our services include:

 

  • Financial management and budgeting;
  • Organising and attending production meetings;
  • Management of workshops and readings;
  • Negotiation and contracting of creative team;
  • Negotiation and contracting of company (cast, stage management, production staff);
  • Co-ordination of casting process;
  • Overseeing physical (set, costumes, props, wigs) build and sourcing;
  • Negotiating and contracting orchestra and orchestra fixer;
  • Marketing and press campaign management;
  • Travel and accommodation booking;
  • Liaison with all members of the company pre-rehearsals and during holiday breaks;
  • Liaison with all members of the creative team;
  • Liaison with Production Manager;
  • Organising transportation of equipment to/from rehearsals/venues;
  • Rehearsal co-ordination;
  • Disciplinary proceedings;
  • Press Night/Opening Night co-ordination and management;
  • Insurance management;
  • Working with Production Accountant to prepare payroll, statements, accounts and tax relief;
  • Merchandise management;
  • Profit and loss projections;
  • Visiting the production where necessary in order to support production staff;
  • Lead on all elements of day to day management of the production;
  • Responding to all technical difficulties or emergencies;
  • Advice on commercial transfers.

 

We work with each production to identify their individual needs to create a management package that works well with and compliments the production company, as well as the marketing/press teams. DLAP Ents will secure a pre-production, post-production and weekly operating fee based on the size of the production and the agreed management package.
